Cumpston case

In 1873 Thomas Cumpston and his wife, a respectable, elderly couple from Leeds, England, were sleeping in a hotel room in Bristol. they they claimed to have undergone a bizarre experience, in which the floor of their room "opened" and the couple were nearly pulled into it. The case is often cited in attempts to explain teleportation and Mysterious disappearances.
